Wet and Wet!!

Readers,

It's another quite very rainy season, with rains so heavy bridges have been washed away, towns disconnected and supplies to these towns affected.

The local media took a hard beating from the President, Levy Patrick Mwanawasa, who said even the BBC, CNN and Al - Jazeera were doing a good job!

Most schools in Mazabuka have been turned into temporary homes for the affected families.

We are informed that we are better off than our neighbours Mozambique, who have recorded 70,000 displaced people

Welcome to Zambia, friends, neighbours

Fellow readers,

A warm welcome to all those attending the SADC Summit in Lusaka. Lusaka, as almost everyone knows by now, is a garden city, one aiming to earn that status as one of the cleanest in Africa.

Visiting dignitaries need to be on the look-out for new developments and amazing sights and scenes such as the Victoria Falls, for first-time visitors, Dr, Kaunda's Chilenje house, now a national monument, and of course, the Lusaka National Museum.

Welcome home to Zambia. Mwaisenipo mukwai

Enjoy your Zambia

Thanks,

Friends of MM
